With a multi-disciplinary and award-winning team in Copenhagen, Denmark, Natural Material Studio aims to transform the discourse of design for equal synergies between human, nature and space. Through materials, the studio is proposing a new design typology and terminology based on systemic methodologies.

On a mission to forge new ideas in the retail sphere, The Future Rocks co-developed a ground-breaking packaging concept with materials designed by Natural Materials Studio. Through a material-led approach centred around the properties and qualities of often discarded or under-utilised natural resources, together, we created a new form of semi-transparent wrapping paper grown from protein-based bio-polymers, natural softners, clay, chalk, algae, reishi mushroom.
